Craberration: Given enough time, everything evolves into a crab. It's your job to keep it that way!

Baby crabs are emerging from the ocean, and some of them are mutated! Eww! Eat them before they escape, and contaminate the gene pool. Eat regular baby crabs to keep up your energy. Gain strange mutations as the mutation meter goes up. But beware, if it goes up too much, you lose! If you run out of energy, you also lose.

Controls:  Use A/D to move sideways. Use the left/right mouse click to eat with the swipe of your left/right claw. Use SPACE for special moves (when you unlock them).

About this game

This game is inspired by the scene from Netflix's "Our Planet II" where a big mom crab on Christmas island starts eating tiny baby crabs emerging from the ocean. I haven't been able to get that out of my head. Craberration was made in Godot 4.2 and all art was drawn entirely by me (obviously, not an artist), for the Acerola Game Jam 0 which had the theme of "Aberration".
